Hey everybody, so I have been reading this book; Switch On Your Brain by Dr. Caroline Leaf since January and it has been a challenge. I have started and stopped reading this book many times because I wasn’t ready to change my life, which I know sounds strange because who wouldn’t want to change their life…but like everything else in life, the desire to change has to outweigh the fear of a new and best you which is where I find myself today.
I am taking the 21-Day Brain Detox Plan starting tomorrow, Monday, May 8, 2017, and I am going to journal every day as part of the brain detox. I have been unhealthy and unfit both mentally and physically for a long time and it has affected all areas of my life, especially my family and they deserve better as do I. We deserve the best me and I have not been my best for a long time, maybe never but this will change!
The journalling part of the detox is, for most people, a writing assignment but I have carpal tunnel syndrome, which makes it almost impossible to write without pain, so I will be journalling here which it would have ended up anyway, I’m just speeding up the process.
